The Glass Ceiling Exhibition
I am planning an upcoming exhibition on October 17, 2026, at Kunstlabor2 as part of the Lange Nacht der Münchner Museen (Long Night of Munich Museums). This is an ongoing, long-term project centered around a unique, immersive spatial installation.
 
The project addresses the „glass ceiling“, the invisible barrier that many people encounter in their careers and lives. By physically manifesting this subtle, unseen obstacle, the exhibition invites visitors into a secluded corridor featuring a glass floor. The portraits are placed directly beneath the glass, facing upward, representing a glass ceiling viewed from below. Visitors are invited to walk across this surface with a vital reminder: watch your step, and be aware of those below you.
 
This is an awareness project designed to spark conversations, question systemic privilege, and make the invisible visible. Accompanying the floor imagery, text panels will line the corridor walls, explaining forms of systemic discrimination and posing thought-provoking questions to the audience.
 
The Photographic Process
The portraits are shot from an elevated perspective looking straight down. The set consists of a custom 3-meter-high double wall, creating a canyon-like depth, connected by a glass ceiling at the top. I scan the protagonists from above using a light sword to capture a striking, evocative aesthetic.

To complete the installation, I want to shoot a few more powerful, exciting portraits. I have booked two additional shoot days:
